Tess Waresmith is the founder of Wealth with Tess, a financial education platform helping women professionals and entrepreneurs build their wealth and confidence using simple investing strategies that anyone can do (even if they are short-on-time or a total beginner).
Tess's passion for helping others learn to invest comes from making her own big investing mistake early in her life. Investing with the wrong certified financial planner (financial advisor) cost her over $80,000 dollars in less that 5 years in fees and financial products that were not suited for someone her age.
Eventually, Tess figured out what had happened and committed to learning how to do it on her own and had one big realization - investing is not nearly as complicated as it's made out to be.
Tess has over 10+ years of investing experience in the stock market, real estate, and businesses. She has grown her net worth by $500,000 over the last 4 years using simple investing strategies. She also currently serves as the VP of Operations at a global marketing agency. Over the last 7 years, she has been promoted 7 times and makes 4x's her salary.
